Full Rainbows

There are many different types of rainbows. The most commonly seen rainbow is the circular rainbow, which we only see half because the ground blocks our rest of the view of the circle.  The amount of the rainbow you see depends on the height of the sun in the sky. The lower the sun, the higher the height of the rainbow’s arc. If you are standing on a cliff or flying in an airplane, you may be able to see the whole rainbow, which looks like a circle.
